Return to Tucson with PAC Tour. This year we stepped away from the easy tour week and into Coaching Week. While we didn't really fit the bill for the standard coach-ee, the schedule for the week was what we were looking for--longer rides with the opportunity to push the spring riding envelope. Oops. Push the envelope we did.
While the first day's ride was curtailed due to weather (cold temperatures, record rainfall and a little sleet just to make things fun), the remainder of the week was pleasant. In the end, though, we "flunked" the week, riding fewer miles than last year and getting sick at the end. Oh, well, guess we'll just have to show up again next year and try again. Honestly, the first day's riding weather will have to be better, right?
