A cycling vacation in the area around Lexington, Kentucky with Timberline. Rolling hills made the riding interesting, pleasant and not excessively challenging. Well....except for the requisite dog sprints. Dogs in the Blugrass region are frequent, rarely contained and really, really don't like bicycles leaving us with the fight or flight decision....fight: shouting and water bottle squirts fail; or flight: sprinting away.
Unseasonally low temperatures (50's +/- 10 degrees) along with rain and/or clouds on most of the days had most of us realizing that a day on the bike, even if it is cold and raining still beats a day in the office.
